Hey, my bf just had his tougue split about a week ago and i was wondering if anyone knows if it can get badly infected? and is the operation reversable?

Hi, it can become infected although if you rinse with salt water after every meal it shouldn't become infected.
Reversing is difficult as the healing process begins scar tissue can pull the tongue in different directions.
If he is thinking about getting it reversed he probably shouldn't have got it done in the first place.
