Help with my Budgie tat

Hi all,
been ages since I was last here, and as yet STILL have not got this bleeding tattoo inked on yet!
The face is not looking how I want it, and the tattooist has said to take in pictures what I want it, but I can't print of a decent copy of one (they turn out tiny)
Is any here any good with paint shop that would be able to make the face right? I have my budgie on the pc and also the tweety pie pic of the face I want, even went so far as to get a trial version of paint shop pro but i'm too stoopid and can't work it! :D

(ps is it normal to be asked to bring pics in when you want a custom design? So far i've been to 3 tattoo shops and they all say bring in/ look through pics? (not just for the budgie, I had tried to get a half angel half devil cartoon girl, but gave up because there was simply no pictures anywhere of anything like what I wanted)
I always thought a custom tat was just that "custom" drawn in front of you.)

Anyhoo pleaseeeee someone help me, I will be eternally gratefull. I have the money sitting waiting for this to be done, but it isn't going to stay sitting for much longer :(

It is normal for most artists to want tosee concept images for a custom piece because how you see the pic and how they see something in their mind maybe worlds apart.

Some artists will draw it from scratch but many prefer to have something style wise to work from. That said if none of the internet images pleased you the artist's drawing may not have either.

If you goto paint program on your PC and load a copy of the image you can resize the image so it prints bigger.

Or you can paste it to a word doc and stretch it by pulling the edges. That said the more you enlarge the more you distort the fine detail.

I am sure if you google image you can get some bigger pics of both budgies and tweety pie - you can just ask them to colour it in to the colour of your budgie.

I already have my budgie, paid someone to draw it because there was nothing on google images. It has turned out really well other than the face (there's a pic of it in an earlier post somewhere), I have saved some pics from google, but like you say, they get too distored to print anything of a decent size.
No matter, if I talk nice to the tattooist hopefully he can get the picture online himself.

I honestly thought if I described every last detail someone would be able to draw it. The guy who done my first tattoo was working on a drawing for me, but he died and I never got a copy of what he had started, hence why I thought any tattooist would do it. Oh well, live and learn :)

I "will" have my budgie on before the end of this month, I am determined!!!:rolleyes:
