Hi all.

Im Cherry and Im 32. Addicted to Ink and have piercings. Have been getting inked for the last 12 years and am very much into anything related to it. Love alternative dress and being a little different and slightly crazy. Im an amateur photographer in my spare time and also a biker, ride pillion when I can on my partners bike. Love anything kitcsh or rockabilly. Post an a few forums but havent found one I feel right on, hope this is it :)

Hi Matthew, thanks for the comment :) Well strangely enough Ive suffered with Mottephobia for most of my adult life. Thats a severe phobia of moths and butterflies. I also have a mild form of entomophobia which is insects (mainly crane flys). I completely hate and despise the things. I freak out if one comes near me and have done from being 17. Ive even caused myself injury getting out of the way of one lol. However, having them tattoo'd, taking photos of them (as close as I dare with my zoom!) and looking at photos of them gradually over the years has helped me overcome it all slightly so Im getting better. My tattoo's are a reminder that they cannot hurt me.

Not at all - I guess I am just very nosey.

I am currently working on some tattoo research and always interested in why we get tattooed and what meaning it has.

Any chance I can refer to your picture and story - i think it is great that you are using it to over come a phobia.
