new tattoo

So I have my design ready and now finally have the money but for some reason I am soo nervous about getting my tattoo done I have never been nervous before:confused: I am thinking that maybe I should go to another tattooist rather than my usual as this new tattoo is going to be very visable and if it goes wrong I couldn't bear it again :(
What would you all recommend??? should I go to the chap i have always used but got blow out last time or go to a different shop that has a good reports????

Hi Ditzy

Well first of all I would check out the portfolio's of other artitsts and see if their inkwork inspires you more than your usual artist.

Also have a chat with your artist and maybe a few more and see which you feel most comfortable with.

I am always nervous about getting tattooed it is not the pain but the excitement of will it be as good as pictured in my mind.

Thanks Matthew This is mad really as I have loads of Tat's I suppose when you have one go wrong it takes the shine off it all abit :o( I am going out at the weekend to chat with a new guy so wish me luck xx

It is perfectly understandable - they eye peeled out of my Lion of Judah - I was gutted and thought it would scar etc etc.

Since I had already travelled to another state in America I had to wait until I got back to the Uk and get it sorted. I was thinking all the time it's messed up like a mantra in my head. That is just human nature though.

I got there and filled it and reworked my crown a little as well as eyes and it was a job done.

I am also a bit of a perfectionist when it comes to my tattoos and I spend forever deciding on what to have - so yes there is always a worry ;).

I can't wait to see your next one and I know it will work out fine.

heya di im not sure u should go back to that guy he did make a mess of ur side piece even tho it still looks pretty he should have been more careful so i think u should choose someone else! what have u decided on getting next? x
