Ink plans for 2009????

I am planning on having my backpiece done finally.
I have been tinkering with the sculpture piece and have finally got it to a standard that I want.

I am mainly deciding on artist - I was considering heading back over to the states (San Francisco) and taking my wife on a holiday there.

Downside is that I would have to get it done in a much shorter period of time.

I will make some more final decisions once I get decided on which artist I want to do it.

Sigh, mine is a lot of finishing jobs. I will gettin my Kannon sleeve completedly in a few days time, with probably just a little tidying up to be done. I have approached Amanda Toy to do a piece for me on my right forearm at the convention. After that, LOTS of hours with Darren Stares to finish Japanase legs. My backpiece should be completedly in around April or May when Saira Hunjan comes back from being away, I sort of fell out of sync with appointments with her when I became pregnant, and couldn't fit in any appoinments immediately after the miscarriage.

I have decided to get a back piece done this year too, am gonna go for a beach/underwater theme covering my whole back, well hopefully anyway, and I wanna get started on my chest piece hate the wee tattoo that is there already so will get that covered and get a cool piece done! xx

I've got several things that I'd like to have done, I'm just not so sure in what order I want them done in. I'd like to have a stylised, gothic W on the back of my neck with maybe some decoration to go with it. I'd also like to get the weatherman symbols for a rainy day and a sunny day on my wrists, respectively.
I've got so many concepts running around in my head, I think I need to reign them in a little!

Oooooh I am so jealous of you all right now, I will definately not be getting any new tattoos until the end of the year now (and I have so many that need finishing) but there is an upside to this story as the reason behind my lack of tattooing for 2009 is that I am having a baby in August ..... better get cracking on a rad new design for the new babies name :o

Im planning 2 more pieces this year so far. Id love Phil Kyle to do one of them and Rachael Huntingdon to do the other (oh the expense!). One of them is a Gothic Pin up girl on my thigh which my partner has designed. The other is a mother nature and her sibling piece with autumn leaves and spring flowers on across my back. Id also like at some point a masquerade mask with a cocktail glass but dont quite know where yet. I have no themes on me, Im a spare of the moment mixture kinda gal. :o

Just started a japanese design chest plate and half sleeve. Been waiting to get ink until I know exactly what I want and where, but now I know so am going to hopefully have two full sleeves and chest plates (Japanese) by the end of they year and a bad ass American old school piece on my leg!

anyone remember my phoenix tattoo covering my upper arm? well, i have booked to have another phoenix ont hat arm to make a sleeve in march :o i cant wait!!!

I'm planning on getting my other sleeve done starting with an old school gypsy head then building from there so if anyone knows of a source for good designs, wouldnt mind getting a chest piece and back piece started too but I'll have to watch the finances lol

Well, i'm getting my first tattoo this year ! can't waaaaait ! A traditional style rose which is really important to me with strong personal meaning. I'll be sure to put a pic up when i get it .. which is pretty soon ! xx

I have now booked my backpiece it is going to be around 30+ hrs to complete so aiming at around 10 sittings.

Downside is the artist is fully booked up 3 mths in advance so first session is 26.6.09.

Not that long really.
