I have got a rose tattoo on my back/shoulder blade, it is about 16 yrs old so has lost its colour and the outline is all blurred. I have a couple of very small japanese symbols around it also.

I want a new tattoo to go over it, but I dont really want a very big solid type tattoo, I am into swirls and lettering really.

I know kind of what I want but I am not an artist and don't know how to incorporate maybe a few ideas of things that mean something to me to put it into one that will cover the rose and symbols.

I am addicted to London/Miami Ink and I wondered if there are places you can go into with some ideas where they will put something together without you having to pay a fortune before you even have the tattoo done????

I hope someone can help. I am in the Salisbury/Andover area if anyone can also suggest a good tattooist. I want some lettering aswell????

Thank you x:)

heya i dont know of any tattoo artist that doesn't help clients with the design, as far as cost goes that really depends on the place you go, but remember you don't want to go somewhere just cos they are cheap or you could end up with something that you really dont like, make sure you look at other tattoos they have done, most places will have a booklet of all the tattoos they have done, so really your best bet is to go talk to them. =)
