First post on here - just looking to see if any fellow tattoo fans knew about or were thinking of going along to the Norman "Sailor Jerry" Collins exhibitions which are happening around the country over next couple of weeks?

They've got his tattoo designs on display, a story about his life, some new art that apparently hasn't come to the UK before and some free Sailor Jerry rums to try out...

Some friends went to the Leeds one last night and they said it was pretty good so am thinking of maybe trying the Glasgow one, which starts on Monday (10th) at the King Tuts. There's also one in London on the 19th for those down South....

This man is a tattoo legend - I'd love to have a rum named after me for a start!

Is anyone planning to go or know people that are going?

Did anyone else go to this?

I ended up going to the Glasgow one which was really good...some really good artwork there.

There's one in London which I'm tempted to go to as well....at yet another good venue - Cargo in Shoreditch - and those Sailor Jerry rum cocktails are too irresistible!

Definitely recommend to those that are looking for tattoo inspiration - and those who like rum!

If anyone fancies going, I might see you there!

Oooo, I just saw this. I am trying to see if there is any entrance price? I am in London on Thursday.... might try to see if I can get to it. Where the hell is Shoreditch?
