I have been umming and aahhing about my left arm. I want a sleeve and have been very undecided about who to get to design it and what to have. I am limited somewhat by what is already there and really am not keen on lasering.
I think I finally found the right person. Been exchanging emails with him and he seems to be quite the expert on Japanese and Chinese goddesses, plus is quite willing to do the work too AND is not too busy!!!!
So that is my meandering. What is yours?
P.S. I have this little moleskin application on my itouch where I note down ideas and references for my future tattoo plans.

I (eventually!) want both my sides done - the stars are a start on one side - going to be a celestial theme. However the other side I'm stuck on whether to have flowers and butterflies, fairies (like my back) or a japanese cherry blossom and koi design................. or a Paul Horton type wizard.................... I know that whatever I don't have on my side will be put elsewhere on my bod but thinking of something that flows and has lots of small parts as it's a part of the body that has a lot of movement.............. know what i mean?????

The guy has done a sketch for my arm and will be emailing me the sketch. I am so excited. I think we're going for 20th October. I have finally decided on what I want for my knuckle tattoo and just need my regular tattooist to be free to do it.

Good luck! I'm close to finishing the planned work on my back and legs. It's been 8 years in the making. I've had it completely reworked by a new artist since the original so i've done it twice! Totally love what's there now. A couple more sessions and I'll be ready to move onto my sleaves - new territory for the first time in 2 years - yippee!! Soooooo excited. They're both cover ups of the bands that I had done when I first started out (tattoo no. 1 and 2) and before I ever imagined that I was going to have extensive work. I'm having them reworked to join in with the back and make the whole thing one piece/theme. We've yet to work out the detail of how we're going to cover what's there but a medicine Buddha wheel and a ying and yang are the central themes. I'm happy that my work is evolving with me. A large peice allows you to let the design and style grown over time as a part of the process. I've estimated that it'll take another 2 years to completely finish what's in my head for now, then I get to think about where next LOL. Body suit here I come!! I'll let you know how I get on.

Good to hear there is another who has accepted the fact that they're gonna end up with a bodysuit. My right leg is almost there really, and I have most of my back almost completed, moving on to my left leg with I've only started the outline for. Chest as some colouring in and sleeves are spoken for, just need to get to January them both to be complete, which leaves me with my sides and stomach really.
