Hi,
My name is David and I'm currently working on Channel 4's 'Embarrassing Bodies' . Our programme aims to dispel the stigma attached to certain health problems, and provide support and advice to people at home if they are affected by the featured condition.
I’ve had friends in the past who didn’t use a reputable tattoo artist and have had skin problems when it didn’t heal properly (but sadly this was a good few years ago). I also have friends who are great with ink and really get passionate about how upset it makes them when they find that there is an unsafe tattooist in their area. It’s a health issue and I would like to get more information out to people who want to tattoo safely.
We would like to feature someone on our show who has had trouble with their tattoo since it was done and offer them treatment if possible. This would allow us then give our audience information about how a tattoo should scab and heal afterwards and what to look out for when they are in the chair and what they can do if things don’t go to plan.
If you or a friend are currently having trouble with tattoos healing or piercings that are swell or causing irritation, and you wouldn't mind being part of our programme to help others in your situation please contact me
